The annual observance of the International Day of Disabled Persons was proclaimed in 1992 by United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3.
It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
Each year we get the question whether we will be active in Belgium with a special callsign.
This year, OT5IDPD has been assigned by the BIPT/IBPT. The call sign will be activated soon till December 14, 2023 on all bands, CW and SSB.
All operators will be hams with a disability.
A special QSL card will be available after the activation. The log will be uploaded to Clublog and eQSL.
We don’t need your QSL card.
