2024 is a big year for BXE. In fact, the club celebrates its 65th anniversary in January 2024.
While it is certain that our radio club was officially inaugurated on January 14, 1959, itis no less true that the decision to create a new club in the eastern suburbs of Brussels was taken in the fall of 1958, after the euphoria of the universal exhibition and the presence of a national station (ON4UB) of the UBA.
We will celebrate the club's 65th anniversary throughout the month of January with the special callsign OT65BXE. For the occasion, any contact will be confirmed by a special QSL card, as well as a “silver” reward for contact with OT65BXE on 3 different bands and a “gold” reward for contact on 5 different bands.
