A Belgian radio legend from Antwerp
The Antwerp UBA section, known by the callsign ON4OSA, is a well-known name in the Belgian amateur-radio community.
And rightly so! As the oldest section in Antwerp, founded back in 1935 by the visionary Morse operators of the legendary coastal station OSA,
the club is proudly approaching its 90th anniversary in 2025 — an impressive milestone that these radio pioneers will celebrate throughout November 2025.

- OSA offers its members and visitors two characterful locations for gatherings:
Monthly meeting: every first Thursday of the month at 8 p.m.,
held at the URANIA public observatory, Jozef Mattheessensstraat 60, Hove.
A cozy evening full of radio talk is guaranteed!
Important note: if this Thursday falls on a public holiday (such as 1 January 2026),
the meeting will be postponed to 8 January 2026.
Radio adventure aboard the West-Hinder III:
for a truly unique experience, OSA invites you every first Saturday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
aboard the historic lightship West-Hinder III.
This piece of maritime heritage, located at Droogdokkenweg 4 in Antwerp, serves as a special club station operating under the callsign ON9BD.
No activity will take place on public holidays.
