Roger - ON6WU
ON6WU, Roger Vermet, passed away unexpectedly on May 8th. He was 69.
Roger was "a professional antenna man", he worked for a "major cable network in Belgium" and after retiring was always available for lectures or technical help. He had an extrordinary art of explaining difficult things in an easy way. With all his knowledge Roger contributed extensively to ON4UN's book on 'Low Band DXing'.
All his friends will miss him. Rest in peace, dear Roger...

Our antenna man has left us.
Great HF specialist, from the beam to the beverage, from the coax to the linear amplifier, from an intense passion to an impeccable friendship.
Roger ON6WU passed away yesterday, without notice. His life and friends were left speechless.
What a great sadness, what an emptiness!
However Roger, there was still a lot to do with us!
Our only consolation, as with the great artists: your work of art will remain...
Whenever I see my beam running, or I am listening to a weak signal coming from far away, I will think of you.
"And? Do you know what this is?", no Roger, we don't know.
But we think of you a lot...
73... Your many friends...
