On Saturday 25 April it is exactly 100 years ago that the Australian and NewZealand Army Corps landed in Gallipoli (Turkey) and marched toward Europe during the first World War.
On 28 April the section MWV of UBA will commemorate this event at De Dreve, Lange Dreve 16 in 8980 Zonnebeke. A special event station will operate on HF, VHF and UHF. The callsign used at this international event will be OP0PPY. A number of historical communication sets and other World War I objects will be displayed. These object are from a private collection and will be displayed to the public for the very first time.
