Belgian Amateur Radio Clubstation Ieper.
Promoting the amateurradio and the International European Emergency Number "112" around the world.

We will use as many bands as possible and be on as often as we can.

Enigma Reloaded 2016

The main goal of the Enigma Event is to promote as much radioamateur’s activity as possible all over the world, celebrating the history of the Enigma cipher machine and its crucial role in the outcome of World War II, and spreading the knowledge of those key people who contributed to its decryption.

The Enigma Event 2016 will take place in two steps:

  • From 17 th to 30 th September 2016, Italian and foreign Amateur radio stations registered as "Activator stations” will ensure the activation of their radio stations in order to allow to the participants getting their scores for the "Enigma Award".
  • On October 1 st, the final event’s day, the Activator Stations will exchange predefined CW messages previously encyphred by a real or emulated Enigma machine.

TM6U - Ile Saint Marcouf

TM6G - Groix Island

From July 27th to August 4th 2016, TM6G will be aired from Groix Island (EU-048) by a Belgian team for the IOTA contest. Afterwards, several castles (DFCF), FFF and lighthouses will be activated and the team will split in 3 stations.

Operators: ON6DP, ON6YH, ON6MM, ON6QR, ON5PO, ON4LRG, ON4AR, ON7ZM (guest operator F5JNE).

BAFARA on the air

Two BAFARA radio stations will be QRV on Belgian National Day 21/07:

ON4BAF (Campus Saffraanberg)
OR7ØAF (Base Florennes)

Both stations will be QRV 08:00 to 17:00 ON time (UTC+2) on the HF amateur bands in different modes as well as on the VHF/UHF bands. OR7ØAF is our special event callsign to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Belgian Air Force (up to December 31).

SAQ - Alexanderson Day

The annual transmission on "Alexanderson Day" with the Alexanderson alternator on VLF 17.2 kHz with the call SAQ will take place Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at 09:00 UTC (tuning up from after 08:30 UTC) and will be repeated at 12:00 UTC (tuning up from after 11:30 UTC).

Amateur Radio Station with the call “SK6SAQ” will be QRV on the following frequencies: 7.035 kHz CW or 14.035 kHz CW or 21.035 kHz CW or 3.755 kHz SSB Two stations will be on the air most of the time.
